The NBA has been very entertaining even during this offseason for die hard basketball fans like myself because of the big name trades, the talented draft pool, and the never ending rumors involving its superstars. So while waiting for tweets and articles on any development around the league, I decided to make this fearless forecast!
First, hopefully the Lakers could acquire Dwight Howard for Andrew Bynum, and Josh Smith for Pau Gasol. Their starters would be:
- Steve Nash (PG)
- Kobe Bryant (SG)
- Metta World Peace (SF)
- Josh Smith (PF)
- Dwight Howard (C)
My fearless forecast is this (even as a Laker fan): the Miami Heat will still be the world champ this coming season!
That team, with the reinforcement of Ray Allen is just dead strong. I assume that LeBron would also improve on his jump shot and footwork so goodluck to the other teams.
